Finding it hard to breath

Does anyone else find it hard to breath? I have a wicked cough but its not cold related, I just feel short of breath all the time. Sleeping is tough because no matter which side I lay on I feel like I don't have enough air or something and i can't stop coughing. Almost like when your coming up to the surface in a pool and are running out of air. Does anyone else feel this way to? I asked my doc and he said its just because of how the organs have moved because of the baby and pressure on the abdomen. That once she drops, I will feel better.

  • Yes, I feel like that too.  Especially when laying down.

  • I have the same thing. the worst for me is when I have to walk up the stairs in my house. It feels like I should cough or something to be able to get more air. I hate it! It can be very scary. Sorry you are going through the same thing. Also, when I talk a lot I get very out of breath, and have to stop in the middle of a conversation to catch my breath! Grrr....

  • I find it hard to breathe if I lay on my back for too long or on my right side... sometimes it happens on my left side too. Or if I'm sitting the wrong way on the couch... that basically describes about 80% of my day... the crazy thing is I never felt like this at all, ever, with my first pregnancy. I think my baby hates me. :(

Things to avoid during pregnancy: Eye contact with cats. Cats will suck the burgeoning life right out of you, using their infamous feline mind-powers. Avert your eyes, and move along.

FACT: 1 in 10 people are said to be a carrier of Listeria. Therefore you should avoid all shopping malls, grocery stores and busy street corners for the duration of your pregnancy. Or microwave anyone you contact until steaming, just to be safe.
