What is everyone up to today?

I am thinking about a trip to HomeGoods and maybe the local bakery so Sam can turn in his wheat he grew from his class field trip there. I'm kind of at a loss for what to do the rest of the day.

I have an OB appointment at 11:40 (first internal.  whee.).  Since it's in the middle of the day, we'll probably just stay around here this morning and I'll put laundry away and vacuum.  My sister's watching the boys while I'm gone, so I might run a couple errands after my appointment since I'll be blessedly kid-free.

getting ready to take M to the bounce house  in the mall to burn off some excess energy from being shut up in the house since saturday.  After that it will be low key because her cough is back...ugh.

taking down Christmas decorations and the tree this morning, then after lunch we're hitting a few stores, have to return some things and pick up a couple of things for Christmas with my g-ma this weekend. Oh, and buying paint. Our playroom is finally getting finished!!

It's a pretty busy day for us.  My parents and brother are leaving today.  Thankfully it's out of the same airport, but two hours apart.  Plus I have a shoot at 4 so I'm driving my brother to the airport and then DH and the kids are taking my parents 3 hours later.  It'll work, but it's juggling.  Then we need to pick up a bit and start putting away everything from Christmas. Luckily, Dad and my brother helped DH get the lights off the house.  That was huge since the ladder is sooooooooooo big and heavy.

Well see my post above.Rough start here. I am hoping to get to Home Goods too to check out xmas stuff on sale as well as some organizing things. I am on a rampage here in my house trying to get things organized and put away.  That is if my son doesn't cause any more damage around here.

we are getting ready for our ski trip, we're leaving Monday morning , so we have a bunch of errands to run for that. Also taking down the outside Christmas decorations, I think the inside will have to wait until we come back though.

we are playing with the boys this am; it was good sledding weather.  and then taking off for an overnight to a casino/spa.  last minute plans but 1.  my parents are golden because they are coming over last minute, and 2.  they have comedy there on wednesdays so i'm ready to laugh.  it's kind of our early new year's celebration without it being new years.  and of course the cost is waaaay better tonight.

I am doing laundry and we are about to paint the movie theater room in the basement. I want to take a trip to the mall by myself, but who knows. DH is home and there is stuff everywhere.

I had an OB appointment this morning too.  It's raining pretty hard, so it's an indoor day for us  The kids and I just finished some rounds of Hungry Hippo before the yellow hippo got stuck (yeesh, good thing it was practically free) and now TB is doing his sticky mosaic (Christmas present) and ML is playing with TB's aquadoodle (from Santa).

Working. I normally don't work much this week, but I have a major proposal due Jan. 18. When, oh when will people stop making proposals due at the first of the year??

But, I am taking the kids to a kid museum tomorrow to see their annual 'science of gingerbread' exhibit.
