What with all the photo-taking over the holidays, I actually have my picture ready to go early this week, so I thought I'd start the string! It's HDBD, so post those bumps!

I have a bump and a question. Here is the bump (please excuse my face, I am not really photogenic and the bathroom lighting does nothing for me)

And my question for second (or more) timers is will my tattoo stretch? I know I am lame but I am worried about it getting all gross and weird, partly because my mom will say "I told you so."

ETA: This is me today at 14w-4d, edited to resize.

Here is this morning at 16w5d. I know I'm going to want to switch to covered soon, so did both today. This is my last pair of pre-preg pants, but now that I'm sitting and it's not feeling so good, I think I'm going to change to my maternity jeans.

I think you look great!! No need to apologize I cut my head off this week because it was a terrible pic. And I love your tattoo! I have 2 that I'm wondering about as well - one on my lower back and one above my right hip.

I feel your pain. I'm 5'8" and didn't show with DD until 28 weeks. I didn't get a "stranger comment" until I was seven months!

You may have some stretching... but if anything, it's going to (most likely) be on the side of your lotus that is closest to your belly. I have 24 tattoos, but none are on my stomach, just in case of having kids. I have stretch marks/tiger stripes from DS, but they don't go past the pointy part of my hip bones. I wish you luck, though, because that's a very pretty lotus! I have a purple, orange and green lotus on my upper right arm.

I love being on winter break and able to post. This is my first one! I posted this yesterday on TTGP... Here is me at 16 weeks!!! I plan on taking another one for 18 weeks tonight or tomorrow

PS- sorry about cutting off my head, my husband was more worried about fitting in the dog than taking a picture of my face

I guess we are a lotusy group of gals Mine is a lotus crossed with a venus flytrap. Carnivorous plants are some of my favorite plants so it's fitting. Lets hope that neither of ours stretch.

I think the one on your back should be fine. I have a small one on my hip and I didn't even think of that one getting ruined (partly because it's small and I always forget I have it). Luckily my 3rd takes up the better portion of my upper back and I think that one will survive unharmed.

We should have a tattoo pic post!

I took a pic last night, but I am at work now so wont be able to post till later. I feel like I have popped a lot in the last week! Big Smile

But, I wanted to say, about the tattoos...I had one on my lower back when I was pg with my daughter and it did not move an inch. lol Back ones should be fine. The lotus one on your side tho may stretch a bit but it shouldn't be too bad. This is also why I don't have any on my stomach. lol I do plan on getting one down my rib cage after this baby maybe. And I agree, we should do a tattoo post! That would be fun! I love seeing other ppls ink. I have 3 so far and will prob get more.

i so just commented about this very thing a minute ago on another post! with my first son i was 5'8" and wore size 5 pants until my 8th month of pregnancy. i always had to defend me being pregnant everyone was like you arent pregnant your stomach is still flat. but when i did get a belly it came from NO WHERE LOL! This time i think im showing a little sooner but it's not really noticeable. the joys of having a longer torso lol!

I'm 5'10 as well but you can def see mine, i have a very small frame i don't know if that has anything to do with it, but im also more leg then torso maybe.
