Anyone work at Target Headquarters?

I am interested in moving to Minnesota & would LOVE to work for Target there! I am just curious to see if anyone works there or has any contacts there, particularly in the Product Design or Merchandising Department...Kinda a long shot, but I thought I would try!

It might not be the best time to try for a Target job with the massive Macy's HQ layoffs here.  The people I know who work in merchandising for target really like it.  Target.com is suppose to be even better.

I do! What kind of background do you have in those areas? Its true there are a lot of people looking for similar jobs since Macy's closed, but Target is really picky with hiring, so just because there's more to pick from doesn't mean we're filling all the jobs!

I also work there!  Just like KonrsBride said Target can be picky with hiring but there are plenty of positions that open up everyday.  If you don't get one I would go again for another.  It is a great company to work for.  I work on the Merchandising side and I know there are jobs available quite often because people move around constantly.

I worked in Merchandising at Target for 10 yrs and left because they are not family friendly... and I was ready to start a family (I have a 2 wk old daughter:)). If you have young children, that may be a consideration for you....
