Has anyone gone to any of the events at BRU? The one near me is having a baby shower and breastfeeding workshop in Jan. Informative, fun, or worth going to?

    I happened to be at the BRU/TRU on Geoffrey's birthday, does that count?  They had a table full of toys for kids to play with and none of the kids were interested in the 8ft Geoffrey walking around, so I got an excellent picture with him.  Worth it.

    I went to the breast feeding event. It was OK, we watched a video about breast feeding and the instructor whipped out that fake boob and showed us a proper latch. 

    They gave us a "goodie" bag that included reading material and a nipple cream sample. They also had a gift basket raffle. They tried to make it nice but it was just kind of OK.
