How are your DH or SO responding

To your pregnancy? Are the helpful and pampering or are they careless and frustrating!

    My DH is both at times he can be really helpful and pampering other times he just frustrates me. Like today...all he wants to do is watch his boring shows about how the earth is made. I on the other hand want to do something together instead of him watching his show and me playing on my computer. I have end up in tears because of it tonight.

    Neither so far.  He isn't pampering but he also isn't careless.  I guess he's the same.  Hoping for a little pampering towards the end of the pregnancy though!

    Mine is very helpful.  He drives me to work as often as he can since I hate to drive, and he doesn't let me lift/carry anything. He's always pretty good about those things anyway, but now when I try to tell him I'm ok to do something, he tells me it's not a discussion and he'll take care of it.

    Same here...my DH isn't careless at all but he doesn't over do it in the pampering department either.  If I want my belly rubbed or a cuddle he will do it without batting an eye but he doesn't have that type of personality to be pampering.

    My bf isn't overly pampering. But, he rubs my belly every night with lotion. If I ask he will rub my back, he is overly lovey dovey and hugs me when I cry.

    Definately Helpful and Pampering.  As I type on here he is painting the bathroom to get the house ready for company.  He is always willing to give a back rub or a belly rub depending on which I need.

    Helpful and pampering. Sometimes too much so- I often have to remind him that I'm pregnant, not an invalid. It is sweet though.

    Helpful and pampering.  I don't demand much but he makes me let him carry in the heavier groceries and I let him carry down heavier laundry baskets.  He is more concerned about my getting enough sleep and does the dishes and cleans the house more often so that I don't have to.  He is also full of really sweet, sincere compliments, which are always wonderful for a pregnant lady to hear. :)

    He's been amazing. It's been a lot of work for him - I've been on lifting restrictions and partial bed rest, and I really can't do much around the house. To say nothing of dealing with our (wonderful but still a baby) 65+ pound puppy. There's been no complaining or anything other than him telling me to get off my feet and drink water.

    (Oh, and full pelvic rest for the entire pregnancy means he's not getting much in return.)

    He's been helpful, and excited, and happy to pitch in. He's going to be the most amazing daddy. I'm just glad that once she's here I can be more of an equal partner, the poor guy.

    My DH has been amazing. He is very pampering and he can't wait to meet our LO.
