My girls are 19 months and haven't, until recently shown any real interest in the potty. I haven't been pushing it b/c I know there's plenty of time for potty training and I honestly feel like diapers are easier for me. But they do have an Elmo video on potty training and Evelyn has been telling me when her diaper is wet. So I decided to buy two potties just to let them get familiar with them. Well, Evelyn was indicating yesterday that she had to go, so I put her on the potty and she went. She then went on the potty 3 more times - each time telling me pee pee. Great.
The thing is, I don't think Charlotte is ready yet. She did go on the potty yesterday but I think it's largely a fluke (I think she sat on the potty just b/c her sister was and she happened to pee at the time). And she has never told us when she's wet or dirty. I don't want to push her before she's ready.
So those of you that potty trained, did you have one that was ready and one that wasn't? Did you hold off until they were both ready or did you train them separately. Also, did you give rewards (m&m's, stickers, etc.)? I know that rewards can be helpful, but I don't want it to seem like I'm favoring one girl over the other.
Any general or specific advice about potty training twins is appreciated!!!

Re: Any potty training advice for multiples?
The girls were "trained" enough after about a week to take them out without diapers. I took a little over a month before I could comfortably say they were potty trained. Now we're working on going before nap and bedtimes.
If you have more specific questions, please feel free to ask! Good luck.
