VT summer vacation? Suggestions

Every summer my extended family (parents, siblings, spouses and kids) goes on a family vacation.  We are thinking of Vermont for this summer in early July.  My one sister lives outside of Burlington.  We have done Stowe already.  Any suggestions on other areas in VT that would be nice for a week in the summer.

We have around 18 people, looking for a large house and 1 or 2 smaller places (my parents would either stay in the big house or in by themselves and my brother and his girlfriend would stay by themselves).

 Kids, at that time, will range in age from 3 to 13 (possible 16 if my nephew comes).

We want to be within driving distance to Burlington as my BIL owns a store and he may need to work some during the week.
