OMG! I'm preggers!

I'm 7 weeks tomorrow and over the moon. I cant wait to see Ruby as a big sister and to have a tiny baby in the house again. We told our families over the holidays but are waiting until after the first trimester to share on facebook, etc.

While I'm absolutely thrilled, I'm also very sick again. For those of you who aren't aware, I had hyperemesis gravidarum with ruby and i seem to be headed down the same path this time. I've been sick the past ten days (it has started earlier than with my last pg), increasingly bad each day. the only thing that brings me any relief is zofran, yet i only have four to go and a week before i can see a doctor. please please please keep me in your thoughts that i dont get as bad as last time, can keep myself hydrated, and dont end up with a reglan pump again. i might be needing some help from nesties if i dont get some relief soon.

and yes, i am "omgpreggo" the AE who is also having issues getting a referral for the birthing center. my PCP refused, even after I called to speak to him personally. I have an appointment with a new PCP next week who i hope is more open to midwifery.

oh i wish it was that easy, kiarox. i left my PCP's office b/c of his ridiculous stance on midwifery. and in order for the OB to call in the zofran, he needs to confirm the pregnancy. BCBS said if he does that, then he can bill for my care provider for the pregnancy, something i dont want. i want the birthing center to be my care provider and get the payment for prenatal services. it's all very annoying.

Ugh. That stinks! Did you find a dr willing to do the referral? Doesn't the birthing center have a relationship with some drs in case someone becomes high risk and needs to be referred out? Maybe one of them will refer you. I hope it gets straightened out soon!

Congrats!! And, from one HG momma to another...you can do it!!!

Before I got the pump with my third, I did a lot of acupuncture and that really seemed to help(combined with the chiropractor) and maybe you could try that?!?!?! If you need any help, please ask. I completely know where you are coming from!! I also probably have some spare zofran lying around here if you need them, just send me an email at erin (at) purewonderphotography (dot) com.
