Yesterday I posted that I was having frequent painful contractions and the streets not were not plowed along with our garage, so I avoided the hospital and toughed out the contractions. Well my water broke at 9:30 pm (pop and gush on the bed lol) and we got to the hospital at 11:30 where I was 5cm. I declined the meds and by 2am, I was 10cm. I pushed for 1.5 hrs (hardest part for me since I had no classes or previous experience), and at 3:36am, my baby girl was born at 19.5 inches and 7lbs 12 ounces. She is so mellow and inquisitive!! She didn't breastfeed because there was nothing but tried sucking. I felt bad I had nothing to offer her but they said this happens. We will be here until Thursday morning! The nurses were awesome but the doc was kind of a bia*ch.... seriously what the hell.
Congrats! Sounds like you had a pretty easy labor I'm kinda worried about not having food for baby since I'm lacking in the boob department, but its good to hear it happens to others. Anyway, congrats again!
I was wondering about you after I read your response to my post about the east coast blizzard yesterday. Sounded like you might be in full blown labor. Glad you got to the hospital ok and you and LO are ok. Sounds like your rocked it. Congratulations and this will be a great story to tell LO being born during the worst snow storm of 2010!
I give up trying to get a ticker. I have a DD that is 2.5 years old and is awesome. Maybe I'll add a quote to distinguish myself. Hmmm. How about...

Congratulations! I just wanted to suggest that you drink a ton of water, avoid caffeine like the plague, get rest, and eat a ton and your milk should come in just fine. Most new moms forget to relax and feed their own bodies, and that leads to a low milk supply. Good luck.
Re: Had my baby!!
congratulations on your baby - what a quick birth experience.
Congrats!
