IVF

I am starting my first IVF cycle in January after 3.5 years of TTC. Is there any of you girls in the San Antonio area who will also be doing IVF in the near future? I'm looking for someone who may be able to relate my experiences and we can help each other through this process.

Hi!  I went through IVF last September (in Dallas) after many years and failed attempts of treatment.  As you can see, we were fortunate to find success.  It is an exciting but stressful time.  I couldn't have made it through without the amazing ladies on the Infertility board here on The Bump.  You will find a ton of girls cycling with you. 

Document every step and journal as much as you can.  It will fly by and this is such a special experience. You belong to a sisterhood of special, extra tough chicks.  Go over and introduce yourself to the girls on IF, you can tell them that a SAIF'er sent you.

Wow Thank you so much! Your little miracle is beautiful!!! I can only pray that our first cycle will be a success as well. I am getting so anxious for that beta to come back + and I haven't even started stims yet! lol This whole process is a little confusing to me, but I'm sure I'll get the hang of it before it's all over! I start my stims on Jan 8th for an estimated Jan 17th retrieval. 

 

These boards do seem so amazing. All these brave women toughing it out to make their dreams come true. That's what life is all about!

I just wanted to chime in and say good luck. My DH and I did fertility treatments also. However, we were lucky enough that we got pregnant before we had to do IVF. We had awesome doctors and had great guidance.
