Had some bleeding???

OK, so I am new to this board, sorry if this is TMI, but I had some bleeding when my huband and I had sex the other night and then it happened again but not as much bleeding.  The first time it was like I was starting my period, but completly stopped.  Not even any spotting after sex.  I am due to have my period this week and have had some small cramping but nothing like when I get my period.  I did take a test this morning and it was BFN.  Again sorry for all the info, but has this happened to anyone?? Any ideas?

If you are close to having your period then spotting isn't out of the norm.  As for the other bleeding, you could have irritated your cervix during sex which can cause bleeding.  Only time will tell.

It sounds like spotting or maybe more than spotting before your period. I know I've had times where I will bleed a little a couple days before my period should start. You can keep taking tests every couple days until full blown AF shows though. Good luck.

Sounds like you have a sensitive cervix. If it happens directly after intercourse then that is most likely the cause. There can be other reasons for spotting such as implantation spotting, pregnancy, infection, and/or luteal phase defect. Test again in a few days. Hopefully it is an early pregnancy symptom.

...oh and I also forgot about ovulatory bleeding. Was it copious and appeared watery or like egg white streaked with blood?

Thaks for your posts, just wanted to update you...had a faint BFP today!! Looks like it will be a Sept baby if all goes well!!
