Ok im happy today.
Kids went shopping last night, to make a wish list for their birthdays. It went so well.
This morning I take DD to breakfast before I exchange her. She is happy, beautiful wearing this new outfit we put together. When i drop her off, everyone is saying how pretty she is and how creative I am to make such an outfit. I take it graciously. Immediately the ex gets up and snobs....dont you think thats too old for her!
Uhm, its a t shirt and a bandanna with levis. Gimme a break. *lol*
My reply is...Oh yeah I forgot to add cleavage Im sorry.
Are you serious?
lol.
So anyway DD has her umbrella in tow and he snaps and is like, WHERE ARE HER PONIES...YOU NEED TO RETURN MY STUFF!!!
I said, Oh yeah I forgot about that, you know those jean pants I asked for the past 3 times...I need those too. Maybe we will exchange tomarrow. But the reason she left her ponies is because she wanted to play outside today and she is pretty tied to her new umbrella.
He continues....to badger me about his ponies. I finally am like...new rule tomarrow you bring my stuff back and youll get yours and we stop sending stuff back and forth.
FINE. Nice.
So before I leave I ask about the day before DD b-day, he was supposed to be off and if we kept to that I would have to pick her up at 10 at the courthouse. Maybe DD wont remember it, but I dont want to have to think back and remember her 3rd b-day being exchanged next to criminals. Luckily he says he already arranged to have her b-day off and the next day and would I PLEASE let him have her.
I tell him that we discussed this in email and he shouldnt bring it up in front of DD. But again, UNTIL HE STOPS with his request to not take her out of state then we will stick to the holiday schedule AS IS. The end.
He snaps back, NEVERMIND. ITS ALWAYS TOO MUCH TO ASK OF YOU ISNT IT.
Im in front of the sheffifs office with his door open, I calmly tell him to think of what his daughter is watching right now. I give her a hug tell her I love her and walk out.
Re: Lol
I would follow up the conversation with an email-- both about not exchanging items as well as the birthday and holiday requests. Just re-iterated it and leave it at that!
Cover your A$$!!!
