We have a snap and go for the first few months. Since baby is coming in the winter and the only walking I'll be doing will prob be laps around the mall I've been kinda lax on choosing a stroller. I'm not too keen on the travel systems, Ideally would like something lightweight and that moves well. I do plan on doing a lot of walking ( light jogging) when the weather gets warmer. Which ones have you chosen?
Re: Recommend your Stroller
We don't have a snap 'n go, so we wanted a stroller that could convert from bassinet to a seat and also to a double should we have two children of stroller age or for when LO is with her cousin,etc... We will be buying two- a regular stroller and a jogger. I didn't like any of the joggers enough to use as a primary stroller.
We went with the City Select but I also tried out the bugaboo, and Uppa Baby.
I see you are from Boston, I found that Magic Beans was a fantastic store to try out strollers-they let you do an outside test drive and the staff is very well versed on how each stroller works. There is also a BuyBuyBaby over the border in NH that I believe has all three of these models on display.

We registered for the Peg Perego Pliko Switch. We live in the 'burbs and this seems like a good choice for us. I think it's lightweight and it folds up really easily. Since it'll be going in and out of the car a lot I wanted something easy to lift. You can switch between a car seat and the bigger seat so it has the benefit of the travel system in that you only need one stroller, but it's not as bulky and both seats come out completely so you don't need to drag both around. It's not made for jogging, but it seems like it handles well and is good for mall walking and streets and stuff.
We haven't gotten it or used it, but I read some good reviews and I think it'll be a good choice for us. The added bonus was the SIL used a Peg Perego car seat so it already fits.
Hope it helps - good luck choosing!
I chose the Baby Jogger City Mini because it is so lightweight.
I have had 4 strollers in 2 years, so my last purchase (right before DD turned 1) was made after a lot of research. I got the Baby Jogger City Mini and LOVED it! DD rarely uses it now. I don't even keep it in my trunk, although it takes up very little space. We got tons of use out of it including several vacations, plane rides, beach trips, etc. Perfect for all uses, very lightweight, literally fold with one hand.
I haven't purchased a stroller for baby #2. I don't anticipate too much walking since we are having winter babies and for short trips to the store or mall, DD can walk. I will use the Snap N Go (which I loved for the frst few months then DS will move into the City Mini. I have been looking for a used double or sit n stand for vacations, but to be honest I don't think we are going anywhere until at least October and by then DD will be almost 3 1/2 and can walk. We do amusement parks maybe once a year and you can rent there if needed.
This, for the same reason, and also because it's so easy to fold, and so easily maneuverable.

We used the snap and go first, then got the Baby Jogger City Elite - love it. If you want something smaller, check out the City Mini.
I haven't heard of the other ones mentioned in here so I can't say whether the one I picked is better or not, but we picked the Eddie Bauer Trailmaker Travel System https://www.target.com/Eddie-Bauer-Trailmaker-Travel-System/dp/B003IW087M/ref=sc_qi_detailbutton
I liked it because it came with the infant car seat that I wanted, it felt soft and comfy (the others felt more like plastic padding) and it can be folded up with one hand - it is also relatively lightweight. I also liked the coloring on this one (link above) because it is fitting for a boy or girl. I guess I can't say much about how great the stroller is until I use it with my baby boy - but we pulled down every stroller we could find and took them apart, walked around the store with them and this one won hands-down!
Same here.
I second the City Mini. And I found that for younger babies, you can also buy a snuzzler (I think it's made by Summer Baby), which craddles and supports the newborn, and the Eddie Bauer reversible stroller liner (I think Target carries this), which provides again, more support. We bought these two products so that we wouldn't have to get two separate strollers for a newborn and an older child.
The newer 2011 City Minis are going to have a stronger back support, FYI.
