Luckily when I got there it was empty except for us so they got us in pretty fast.  Everything looks great with baby.  Monkey was moving around and bouncing.  I couldn't stop laughing and Bryan loved it.  They didn't see anything around baby that could be causing the bleeding.  They didn't check my cervix, but from what I explained to them they are pretty sure the bleeding is thanks to me being constipated.  They basically just told me more liquids and to change up my diet.  Thanks so much for the T&P's!

Did you ever talk to your OB about Miralax? Not Colace or another softner, but an actual safe laxative?

i have talked to him about miralax but it seems to make me pretty crampy.  I did take it last night but haven't had any luck today going to the bathroom.

Glad to hear all is okay.  I used Metamucil Clear & Natural (mixed into my water) and it really helped.  My doc was not a fan of using any laxatives, so I just upped my fiber.  Using that and having a fiber bar each day, I figured I added about 15 to 20 grams of fiber and it really helped.  GL!

I'm so glad everything is ok.  I also had a some spotting on christmas eve and went to ER.  I was also constipated.  I had no idea being constipated could cause bleeding.  Again, I'm so happy everything was great.

It takes 24-36 hours to work, because it's so gentle. But you need to take it every single day once you get this backed up, along with the Colace.

Trust me, it will work. Also, ease up on fiber and just stick w/ prune juice, water, dried fruit, etc. to get thing moving. At this point, fiber is going to make it way worse.

It took about two days post impaction for the Miralax to really regulate me, but I've been a pooping machine ever since.
