A little white lie

So I am finally feeling the baby kick a lot now! Yayyaaa! DH has gotten to feel him kick maybe 2 times. People are now asking me if I can feel him and are asking to put their hands on my stomach to feel him for themselves. I have found myself saying that you can't feel him from the outside yet. Does anyone else have issues with others touching them? I didn't realize I was one of "these" people until this event. hahhhaa!

When I was pg I didn't like anyone touching my belly. Didn't get many people asking and only 2 times did I ever get 'manhandled'. I guess I let off a vibe of 'don't touch me'.

I am not a touchy person anyway so I would have put a stop to it if people wanted to. I think if my MIL lived closer we'd probably get into a big arguement over it- she's quite touchy feely.

Oh my gosh I don't blame you at all! I hated it when people would try and touch my stomach when I was pregnant with DD. Fortunately I'm still very small so no one really tries yet unless they already know I'm pregnant. Also my mom always wants to talk to my stomach which just creeps me out. I'm not a touchy feely person in general so people wanting to touch me all the time or talk to my stomach just irritates me.

My poor MIL - I totally snapped on her when I was pregnant with my DD. She touched my belly and I just about jumped down her throat. It was funny tho - towards the end of the pregnancy it didn't bother me as much as I felt like my stomach was more of an appendage and not like someone was just feeling up my stomach. It was invading everyone else's space so what the heck, right?!?! I do agree with all tho - I am not a touchy feely person to begin with so it does bother me when people try to touch my pregnant belly.
