managed to get rid of the paci this week

He was so preoccupied with recovering that he never noticed.  He hasn't had it since Monday, hasn't asked once.

Getting him to sleep, now?  Eeeegads.

  • That's how I got rid of the bottle with Joey.  He had the rotavirus so wasn't drinking milk for 2-3 days and so I just never reintroduced it after that time (when he was feeling better).

Hopefully Bryan sleeps for you!!!  :)

  • We did the same thing with Ella about a month ago (I know I know my almost three year old still had a pacifier) she had the stomach bug and was so sick she didn't ask for it. She hasn't asked since.

  • Yeah, DS will be 3 in March.  We've been hesitant because he loves it so much, but mostly because we feel like total hypocrites - DD has her thumb & is 4.5... how can we tell DS he can't have his paci??  This made it easier though, we're going to tell him the dr said he can't have it anymore if he does ask.
