Anyone with a "heart shaped" uterus AND PCOS?

My Doc stated that I couldnt get on Hormonal birth control and suggested IUD. Although ive heard of good reviews Im just not "Sold" on it yet. Any suggestions? FI is thinking about a vasectomy, but knowing him he may chicken out (men!...such babies...smh)

  • I have PCOS and was cleared by my reproductive endocrinologist for BCP without issue.  It was actually recommended to regulate my cycles.  She specifically recommended Yaz.

  • Those are two completely separate issues... do you have both?

PCOs will not prevent  you from eing on bcps.. in fact, most doctors will use bcp as a "treatment" of PCOs when you are not ttc.

If I were you, I would get another opinion or ask the doctor why he/she thinks you shouldn't be on bcps.
