I love my heels, in fact most of my shoes have heels. That being said I have not worn heels for weeks and weeks. With the terrible m/s I was having, it was a comfort thing.
Looking online at maternity clothes it seems that all the models are wearing huge heels. Huge heels and a huge belly just seem like a bad idea. Sure, I can see wearing them every now and then when you need to dress up, but every day for work?
So, I'm interested to know
Do you wear high heels now?
Do you think you will wear high heels when you are far bigger?
Re: High heels and pregnancy
I'm a HUGE stiletto girl but I'm not wearing heels because it's winter in NYS and I live in my Uggs pretty much. I do have a pair of boots with an aprox. 2.5-3" heel that I feel comfortable in, but the heel is on the chunky side. My mom, aunt and co workers have all warned me that if they see me in heels they're going to yell at me.
I guess it's just a comfort thing - I'd love to say that I'll be wearing heels in the summer, but with a huge twin pregnant belly I really don't think I'll risk wearing heels.
After 2 years, Injects, PCOS diagnosis and 2 IUI's, we were blessed with our beautiful twin girls!

I usually wear REALLY high heels but if I am not comfortable or feel like my equilibrium if off, I'll wear flats. I am not going to risk falling down or hurting my feet and ankles.

My mom has some pretty awful bunions now and she always tells me that she thinks it was because she wore heels throughout her pregnancies. I have no idea if that's true or not (to be fair, she wore heels throughout much of her youth) but I'm probably going to avoid heels as soon as I start feeling big/unbalanced/uncomfortable.
It's kind of moot now because I hardly ever wear heels anyway, only to church on weekends and some special occasions. My workplace is pretty casual so there's no need.
I wear heels now (about 9.5 weeks).
I also wore heels throughout most of my previous pregnancy. I wore them regularly (though retired some of the higher/less comfortable ones) for at least 6-7 months. The last couple of months it was summer, and I only wore them for court appearances and special occasions.
I wear 3 inch heels at work everyday. During my first pregnancy I wore heels until I was 8.5 months pregnant. Had to give them up because my feet swelled up during the last weeks of pregnancy, could not squeeze them in my stilettos anymore.
