I don't post often but you ladies give great support and right now I could really use some nice thoughts.
So on 9/13 I went to the ER with horrible abdominal pain. Many tests later they found I had a bursted appendix, a complex cyst w/ septations, and two large kidney stones that I will not be able to pass w/o surgical help. So I was admitted, had surgery for my appendix, and discharged on 9/24 which happened to be my birthday.
I'm now recovering and will have to go to my gyn to f/u w/ this cyst on my right ovary. I've already had a cyst removed in 2005 via laporoscopy. It just seems like the problems are never ending. Everything I read about complex cysts does not sound good. I'm thinking the worst as far as being able to have children. Have any of you ladies had to deal with this? If so please share your story with me. If not, I would appreciate if you send a little prayer for me. I don't know how much more I can take.
Thanks for reading...
When it rains it pours... ((hugs)). I don't have any advice to offer, but I wanted to say I hope you get some answeres from your doctor. Also, I have looked stuff on inline and freaked myself out. So, I'll say this, but I know it is easier said than done. But you cannot believe everything you read on the internet. I was afraid of having an incompetent cervix because I had a LEEP procedure, and everywhere you turned online it said you had an increased risk. Naturally I freaked out, but after I talked to a Dr who has been an OB/GYN for about 20 years said he hasn't seen anybody who had IC from a LEEP.
It made me feel better, but I've decided the internet is evil and will cause unnecissary worry. HTH

Sorry your going through this. I don't have any experience with that but it sounds hopeful. Don't jump the gun and think the worst untill you know more. Good luck i hope it all works out. Hugs.
