Hi everyone. I am new to this board and I am not sure what is going on with me but here is my story: I took an hpt test several weeks ago which came up with two lines. So of course I tested again and took two more over the course of the week-both with the same results. So I scheduled my dr appt and of course we told EVERYONE that I was pg. Then that Sunday DH and I were having sex and I started to bleed. Not a whole lot but bright red and there was one clot that I saw. This sort of tapered off to spotting and then the next day I wiped and saw more red blood. But same thing-tapered off to spotting and then nothing (only went on for two days). Definitely not very much at all to even make me think anything (and I had read it's common for your cervix to be sensitive at first, esp. to intercourse). So my appt is Monday so yesterday I decided to take another hpt just to be sure. Well it came up negative....so of course I took two more-both with the same results. So I have no idea what is going on with my body. I am so confused!! Anyone else have this experience?? By the way, I still have all the pg symptoms, larger breasts, frequent urination, being tired all the time, etc.

I am so sorry you are dealing with this. It sounds like you may have had a chemical pg. but honestly your doctor will be able to tell you more. Good luck. We are here if you need us.
I am really sorry you are going through this. certainly your doctor will know much more, but it could be either chemical pregnancy, or that your bleeding was a miscarriage, and following that your beta #s went down very quickly. When they are so low, you will test negative.
The continued symptoms following my own m/c were so upsetting.
I wish you the best, and know we are here for you.

and then nothing since except every test possible (no answers).

Thanks so much for everyone's responses. I had heard the this board was wonderful and I am so glad that I posted. I feel fortunate that we were able to conceive on our first try (well, not even really trying) and I am trying to stay very positive that our time will come again soon. I am also sorry for everyone else's losses and wish everyone here lots of baby dust for ttc after a loss and I am sending sticky vibes out to those of you who are already expecting again

Re: m/c question for everyone (kind of long)

It sounds like a chemical pregnancy, but speak to the dr asap. GL!
