Pregnant after a Loss

Question for ladies in 2nd tri +

So I'm 13w1d today, and so far I've had an appointment every week since my first blood draw which was 3 weeks ago. My next one isn't until Jan 13th now.

So before I start to worry my face off, when did YOU begin to see a little bump? I have noticed a teeny tiny growth in my belly but that could just be my imagination, and it seems to get very noticeable only after meals. I'm hoping this week I'll begin to see a real one. I'm getting nervous. I hope LO is fine and growing in there!

I just can't WAIT to start feeling movement so I can relax (a little...).

TIA!

  • Like you, around 13 weeks I noticed a little more bump after eating or in the evenings. It really wasn't until about 2 weeks ago that my belly actually popped to the point that I thought others (besides DH who liked to check out my belly status as I changed) could notice it. Even now, I still think it's a small bump and people who don't know I'm pg wouldn't necessarily think it.

  • Around 13 weeks I had to move into maternity clothes but I didn't have a real bump.

I just now starting to grow a real bump, but I think most people wouldn't realize I was pregnant if I didn't tell them.

  • I am 13weeks today too!!!!   I am starting to seriously think about maternity clothes becuase I can't wear leggings to work and I am very uncomfortable.  I don't see a bump either except for bloat late in the day but DH and I noticed that just above my pubic bone (where I can kinda feel my UTE). it looks a little round (like kinda swollen).  So I am guessing that is my bump but no one can tell.

  • The plan is buy some maternity pants this week.  I just can't take it anymore.  I know I don't look pg, but I am tired of the rubber band trick and bella band.

  • I can't button my pants, but I don't have a visible bump yet either.  This is #2 for me, so you think I'd pop faster, but no such luck.

  • I started noticing a little bump around 16 weeks. At 19 weeks I got my first "when are you due?" comment from a stranger.

  • I am in the same boat. I had a great apt. at 9w4d and I will be almost 14 weeks by the time I have my next apt. I have been sooooo nervous and anxious. It's such a long time to wait. And this pregnancy has been way too easy with hardly any symptoms which makes it even worse. This week I started to feel really really bloated and thought I was noticing a small bump just above my pubic bone (it looked swollen like Frogyie said), but then this morning it looked flat againSad MIL kept insisting I had a bump, but I kept telling her it was bloat and all the Christmas goodies I have been eating. I have to wear a beband with most regular pants, but I don't need maternity pants yet. I try to stick to leggings, and now since I am on vacation pj pants are my thing. I hate this weird in between stage. I just wish I knew everything was okay in there.

  • Thanks for all the responses ladies! I was telling my mom today I would like to have an appointment every day. She laughed at me like I'm nuts, which I am. Obviously every day is a little much, so that was KINDA a joke. But it would be nice to not have to wait 4 weeks in between appointments! Hang in there ladies. Easier said than done, I know, I'm trying too!
  • At night I would get bloated but now I have a little bump. I can hide it still if I wear looser clothes. My pants still button but I usually just wear comfy ones.

I started feeling flutters around 14 weeks. I feel LO more at night than anything. But again this is number 2 for me.

  • With my daughter, I didn't get a bump until about 15 weeks or so. This baby (3rd pregnancy) I had a bump at about 12 weeks. I understand how nerve wrecking the time between 12 and like 17-20 weeks can be! Your ms is pretty much gone, you have more energy, but you don't quite have a bump and you can't feel movement yet! Agghh... Hang in there!
  • I went into maternithy clothes at about 14 weeks out of necessity (didn't fit into anything because I tend to wear pretty fitted/tailored clothes).  I think it was around 16 weeks when the bump was more noticeable.
