Question - Had 1st appt mid cycle for ovulation

Hi ladies.  I have a question for you... I just went to my first appt mid cycle to find out if I ovulated or not.  I got bloodwork done and then an u/s.  I won't know the results of the bloodwork til later today.  Anyway, when I got the u/s done, the doc said that everyone looks great but we'll have to wait and see what the bloodwork says.  Okay, great... I can wait. No big deal.  Now, he also measured my endometrium.... SO my question is, what are they looking for or reading when they measure that???
