Snow Storm Updates!

How is the weather where you are? Did you get any snow? How much?

I live in Niskayuna and we have about 8 inches or so. The wind is horrible! My mom and brother who lives about 20 west....NOTHING. If only we were so lucky! It took DH 1.5 hours to get to work this morning and it's usually a 25 min drive. Good thing he took my car which handles better in the snow.

Now I'm stuck home today watching Christmas movies I taped from Lifetime. I was supposed to see a friend up from Florida but she's in my hometown which got no snow....I'm stuck with DH's car which isn't good in the snow....so tv it is!

We aren't in the path of this storm, but we did get flurries on Christmas day!  I was so excited.  Nothing stuck, but that's ok...there's something special about looking out the window on Christmas to see snow in the air.  I hope everyone stays safe out there!

Its so nice to NOT be the ones buried in snow this time.. Stay safe for those of you are getting it though!

Yeah, it's awful. I was digging out of my driveway for about 45 minutes this morning before I flagged down a plow guy.  I offered him cash to clear the driveway but he did it for free. :-)

Now I'm at work....I think there are 7 people in the entire building.  No one was on the roads.  Its ridiculous that I'm here.  My boss thinks the world would end if we weren't in the office.  Oh well.

The only thing we have here in Binghamton is some very light flurries and major wind/blowing snow.  It was not fun taking DD to day care this morning.

I am so glad I already had today off!  I would not want to drive to work in this.  The snow drifts are crazy on my block.  Luckily a neighbor is now snowblowing the sidewalks.  I am dreading digging my car out later today so it will be easy to get out tomorrow morning.  I wanted to put Quinn in his snowsuit and just take a couple pictures of him in the snow, but that equated to me getting the worst mother of the year award from my husband.  He acted like I was going to throw him in the snow in his onsie and leave him there for hours
