s/o - how do you store toys?

In particular, how do you store playsets -- especially the big ones (like Little People stuff.  The airport is freaking HUGE!)?

We have a couple cubby shelves and toy boxes in the boys' playroom, but I'm at a loss for what to do with all the big stuff and things with lots of accessories (which is why I almost exclusively buy the kids "self-storing" toys).

I have one of those storage bin things. Anything that is a set, i usually keep in plastic storage containers and then DH built a huge 5'x5' toy box they go in.

We have one of the Cubicals storage bookshelves. It's only 2 ft tall, then I have a bunch of various size Sterilite containers with locking handles (that the kids can do).  We put the bigger items on top of the Cubicals thing, or, like we have a huge bin of Little People and I sit the garage and house on top of that bin.  

We're planning to have a big built-in wall unit built in the next couple months.  DH's friend is recovering from back surgery - but we're first on his job list once he's well.  That will be built to accomodate all the various sizes of containers we have - and what doesn't fit in the wall will find it's way out of the house!

We have the Trofast system from Ikea and all the playsets go on top of the units. All the accessories go in the bins (we have a huge dedicated Little People bin).

I've gotten a lot more bins since I took this photo, but this is pretty much it. A couple of big bins handle the dress up stuff.
