I did, it was a lot of fun. The rep was very nice and knowledgeable. She mentioned a few things that weren't exactly on key, but nothing that mattered really (no one uses diaper pins anymore, etc).
She had a whole suitcase full of diapers. All different styles and brands, newborn and OS. It was really nice to introduce people to cloth with a nice variety to show them. It did seem a bit overwhelming though to some of the guests. I think it would have been nice to explain more the main types and then that the rest (all the brands) are just different choices - just as we have with clothing brands - mostly the same all in all. There were a lot of questions though, so we sort of jumped right into the whole lot of them. It was nice knowing a lot about it myself so I was able to help on the other side of the room.
I was mildly uncomfortable with the selling portion (at the end). Not really because it was awkward - the rep handled it wonderfully - just that I'm always uneasy when money becomes involved, lol. I did get a free wetbag (mine was grovia) for hosting. You also earn a % of the sales. Mine didn't tally up to be much, but that's not why I did it, so I was happy either way. One thing to keep in mind though is the cost to run the party. I hosted it here but had a good chunk of $ in food and drinks for people (and I kept it simple - tea, fruit, veggies and a home made dip w/ bread), which hurt since I hadn't considered that when I agreed to do the blog post for the company. If I had, I would have asked for some help from them on that - since this was at their request.
I need to get a blog post done on it, but I'm hoping to include a video with it for the blog - since my readers weren't able to attend, of course. I just have to wait on some things.
All in all it was really great. So happy to have had a chance to introduce more cloth here and meet some new moms (I didn't know any of the attendees! They're all from a local mom group.) I actually hope to have another party at some point. There is interest in doing another when the weather is warmer

Very cool. There's no local rep in Florida. I think I might like something like this... but I don't have very much experience with different dipes as we mostly used a couple of fitteds or pf's with covers. However, I do have a number of local mama's that use all different types, so I could learn from them, I guess!
