Nope. We have 1 bathroom for the 4 of us to share.

My kids have their own bathroom, we have ours. They're on separate levels, so they use whichever one they're closest to. I usually bathe them in mine. It's in the hallway, not in one of their rooms.
They have a bathroom in the hall. It's past the staircase from their room. We do have a baby gate fixed at the top of the stairs, but rarely close it anymore since DS2 is in a crib and DS1 never gets up to pee in the middle of the night. Once DS2 is in a big boy bed, we'll probably start locking it again.
All our bedrooms are upstairs. We have a master bath attached to our room and then the girls share the other upstairs bathroom with guests and eventually with DS. We have a half-bath downstairs. At the old house, the girls had a bathroom attached to their room without having to go out of the room. That was nice, but at the new house it's just across the hall. We do have a gate for our stairs just so they don't accidentally get confused in the middle of the night and fall down them (and for DS during the day, of course).
sorta. It's not en suite but he's the only one upstairs currently (we have 2 up and 2 down). When other children move into upstairs bedrooms they'll all share that bathroom. It's right outside his door, though.

Basically. He is downstairs in a hallway with his room, a bathroom, and DH's office -that is the bathroom he uses but guests share it when they stay over (they stay in the office, we don;t have a separate guest room). There is another half bath off the living room and then we have a master bath upstairs where our bedroom is.

I live in a split-level so the upper level is really the main level and we have our master bed and bath across the hall from the girls rooms and they use the hall bathroom which is also the one company would use. We have a 4th bedroom in the basement/lower level and there is also a full bath down there.

All bedrooms are upstairs, we have a master bath, and there's a huge bathroom in the hall (with dbl sinks) for the other 3 bedrooms.
However, they insist on using ours. We just started leaving the light on in theirs at night, so when they get up it 'draws' them in, lol.

Same here. One bathroom to share.

No. They share a bathroom in the hall which is directly across from a long flight of stairs. It has not occurred to me to lock anyone in their room.
Do kids actually 'fling' themselves over gates?
