I'm feeling very proud of myself and LO because she just nursed for over half an hour!  This is big because she hasn't gone more than a few minutes at a clip and had a tough time latching because she'd get so worked up.  Maybe it has something to do with the fact that we'd both just woken up from a 2 hour nap and jumped in without thinking...?  

Here's the part that qualifies me for the award I think:

When I woke up, my first thought was "Seriously, what IS that rustling sound next to me?  It's been going on like forever."  Ah yeah, that would be your BABY!?  In her pack & play?  Next to you?  Yeah.  She's squirming around and probably wants to be fed.  LMAO.  Guess I maybe get a break since we're not quite 5 days in

Lol! It takes a bit to remember LO when you're in a dead sleep. The first few weeks I'd wake up freaking out thinking that DS was on me/with DH when he was safely in his bassinet.

Totally lol. I kept thinking the pillow I was hugging was the baby and rocking in my sleep, the panicking cause he was in the bed. That first week is so confusing for everyone lol

I still have a fear of sleeping on my stomach. When im alseep i forget im not pregnant anymore. I wake up in the same position i went to sleep in and i always tell myself "man i have to sleep in a different position tonight" and i neverrrr do. Got my body used to the left side for 9 months and i hated it, and now i cant break it !

 

Good job on nursing for 30 minutes! Keep up with it, i LOVED nursing LO. Once i got the hang of it and he latched really well, it was awesome. But when i went back to work my supply decreased, and i still kick myself every time im feeding him with a bottle. I know if i didnt have to go back to work, hed be nursing instead of taking formula.
