I usually do alright during the day, bu in the evenings I break down. I haven't shed any tears yet today (yay!!) but I'm afraid they're coming. I hate going to bed alone and I hate that I haven't heard his voice today. This fvcking sucks.

Yes, evenings are the hardest time for me, especially dinner time. But not every day is hard anymore, as time goes on and you get established in a new routine it gets easier to enjoy dinner time/bathtime/bedtime with your DS. And if I have something to look forward to after he goes to bed, like watching a netflix movie or reading a book, that usually helps.

They used to be. I am 18mths out now from when my exH moved out and now I actually enjoy my evenings alone. It's my "me" time when I can do whatever I want, from washing dishes to vegging on the couch, completely uninterrupted. It gets better, I promise.

Yes. When I have my "poor me" moments, they're always in the evening when things quiet down and it's just me and my thoughts.
Like a pp said, things do get better. Now, I look forward to the evenings and my "me" time. For example, I got Photoshop Elements for Christmas and I've been waiting all day to play with it. Now that DS is in bed and all the chores are done for the night, I have my "me" time where I can play around with it.

Hang in there...it will get better.
3 months out and I'm enjoying all the above!
