WIth two 5lb boys inside my uber tight belly now I am getting very anxious, especially since the doctor pushed back my section (I asked about it and got a b/s answer

) Her partner seems to think these babies will arrive sooner than that. So what week were your babies born? How big were they? Did you go into labor on your own or not? TIA
Re: Week Born and Birthweights?
34 weeks 5 days (induced, pre-e) labor for 18 hours, vaginal delivery.
5#9 and 4#11
I was told they were 6 something and 5 something 2 days prior to induction.
spent 8 days in NICU.
1. 38w1d
2. Baby A- 6lbs 5 oz Baby B- 5lbs 12 oz On a related note, mine measured heavier on the ultrasounds because of their head and leg measurements- they were long and lean babies. So those ultrasound measurements can be off
3. I was 4.5 cm dilated when I went in to be induced at 38w1d. I was in labor, with pushing, for 11.5 hours
They arrived at 36 weeks after PTL and bedrest for 14 weeks.
Scheduled induction at 37w6d.
They weighed 6lbs10oz and 6lbs7oz.
At 37w I was told they were each estimated at 5lbs11oz.
38w1d, scheduled c/s with no signs of labor.
6lb 6oz and 7lb 15.6oz
my 36 weeker singleton was 7lb 4oz... so i tend to make large babies (I was a 9lb baby myself)
After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!
Mine were born at 38w5d. I had a scheduled c-section because of baby A being breech. Baby A weighed 6 lbs 10 oz and baby B weighed 7lbs 1 oz.
I had a scheduled c-section at 37w, 1d with no signs of labor. It was a scheduled c-section because both babies were breech.
DS was 6lb 5oz and DD was 4lb 15.5 oz. At my last growth scan around 35w, both were estimated over 5.5 lbs. We were all surprised at how tiny DD was but I think she's just small boned (as am I) and is going to be petite (I'm only 5'3). She's over 8lbs now and feels like nothing compared to how her brother felt at that weight.

I believe most c/s are scheduled for week 37, if you don't have to then you do not want them to come earlier. After week 37 the chance of NICU lowers.
I think there are a bunch of girls that have answered this same question in the FAQ - https://community.thebump.com/cs/ks/forums/thread/7724150.aspx
Birth weights are important of course, but if you can keep them in longer their longs have more time to mature which is what you also need.
Born via scheduled c/s at 38w2d. No signs that labor was anywhere near starting on its own.
E was 6 lbs. 12 oz. and B was 5 lbs. 13 oz. I don't remember what the last u/s estimate was.
At 32 weeks they said I had two 5lbers.
I delivered at 37w3d and they were 6lb1oz and 6lbs. I had a scheduled c section the following week but my water broke at 37w2d and contractions followed soon after!
4 Fresh IVF cycles + 1 FET where embies didn't survive the thaw = 2 perfect little men!
sFET 11/9/11 - Beta 11/18 BFP!
37w1d
Jack: 6 lb 3 oz
Braley: 5 lb 10 oz
ETA: no NICU time, they came to my room straight away after my C-Section. I carried one of them in bed with me! Though I don't remember which one...
1. 37 weeks 6 days
2. 6lbs 12oz and 6lbs 1oz. They were estimated to be 7lbs 13oz and 7lbs 8oz at my u/s at 37 weeks.
3. I was induced and it went very smooth. No complications. I had zero progress on my own.
I was induced at 38w2d and delivered the next day. Baby A was 7lbs1oz, and Baby B was 5lbs0oz.
6lbs., 9oz. and 5lbs., 11oz.
no signs of labor- induced due to high bp and low fluid around baby b. No progress after 24hrs of labor and increasing bp, resulted in c-section.

Grayden "Baby B" 6lbs8ozs 20in.
Repeat section for me. I started having some slight contractions at 34.6 wks and they went ahead and took them that evening because they were afraid that my old section would rupture internally.
They were 4.2 and 5.9 lbs. Both spent 14 days in the NICU for eating/growing and keeping warm. They both also had 2 apnea episodes in the first two days that they were able to recover from with no intervention. Those automatically bought both of them 10 days each.
My girls were born at 36w2d - Baby A = 5 lbs 12 oz; Baby B = 7 lbs 2 oz.
You can see my history in my siggy - after my issues with a shortened cervix and PTL, I was released from hospital bedrest at 34 weeks. When I went to my doctor for my 36 week appointment, I had just started feeling more confident I'd make it to my 38 week scheduled c-section. But my doctor told me she was sure my water would break within a week. I can't remember exactly why she thought that - maybe because the babies were big or Baby A was so low in my cervix? Either way, she was completely right - my water broke a few days after that appointment!
I was told they would be over 6lbs-- I had them at 37w1d. I did not go into labor on my own.
A- 5lb4oz
B- 4lb13oz
no where near where they measured. They were very small for 37w (I suffered from HEG throughout pregnancy which contributed to their size)
BFP #2 - 12/9/09 After being on bedrest for 10 weeks due to TTTS and hospital bedrest for 4 weeks due to PPROM, my sticky babies are here! Born at 32 weeks!!
Went into labor on my own at 32 weeks.... held it off with meds until 33 weeks. Babies were born at 33w by c-section: daughter: 4 lbs. 12 oz. and son: 4 lbs. 1 oz.
Best of luck to you!
37w 1d
5lb 13oz and 5lb 6oz
I had an emergency c due to pre-e. My scheduled c wasn't until 38w 3d.
No NICU time, they came home with me.
Scheduled c-section at 36 weeks 3 days. No signs of labor, except when I arrived for the section, the monitor was picking up minor contractions.
A - 5 lbs 4 oz
B- 5 lbs 12 oz
I don't remember what their weights were at my last anatomy scan, which I believe was at 34 weeks--- but I remember they were both over 4.5 lbs. We thought they'd be closer to 6 lbs when they arrived.
They spent 4 days in the NICU (2 of them were my last 2 days in the hospital) for temperature regulation.
1. 36w3d
2. 7lb 7oz and 7lb 4oz. At our 35w u/s, we were told they were both just over 6lbs.
3. C-section due to dropping platelets and high blood pressure
