games for the leapster2?

ds got a leapster2 from the inlaws, but no games.  I'm trying to figure out which games are good for him. He'll be 4 in 3 weeks.  Any suggestions?

Also, do I have to buy cartridges or can I download these games right to the computer and then to his machine?  I can probably find the answer online, but thought maybe someone here would know.

Other than the mini-game that is included, I'm pretty sure you have to buy the cartridges. We bought him Toy Story 3, Thomas the Train and the Leap Frog Kindergarten game. My parents got him Cars and the Pet Pals game and a friend is getting him the Finding Nemo game.  The one thing I forgot to get was a case to store it all in.

He can still do a few fun things on it until you get a game or two. Ben got one yesterday, too, and has been loving the painting app that was already pre-loaded on the system. Show him that!
