Leaking...

My diapers are suddenly leaking.  Does that mean it's time to strip?!  I've been using them since Aug and only stipped once in Sept.

Are the inserts saturated? If so, you need to add more absorbency. If not, then yeah I'd strip. You shouldn't really need to strip if you're using the right amount of detergent. I'd try cutting back and seeing how that goes.

I started using a little more detergent a while ago because there was a funk smell after they were washed.  I've heard if they smell then you need to use more detergent, but I've also heard that using too much detergent can make them smell??  I'm at a loss.  The inserts don't seem THAT saturated and it's only leaking around the leg holes.  Maybe I just need to tighten them more?  Weird that they haven't leaked all this time though and then just now they started to. 

 I wash with Purex Free and Clear but I'm wondering if I should try another detergent.
