Hello Ladies!  After a year of TTA, we're joining the TTC crew.  I've read TCOYF and have started back on Fertility Friend.  I'm ordering Pre-Seed today. From what I've read, OPKs are not really reliable.  Anything I should be doing in addition to all of this madness?  I've been looking forward to this moment since we went off BCP a year ago, but now that the time is here I am SUPER nervous.  Thanks for all the support and wisdom you can share.

    Hi and welcome! It sounds like you're doing things right, good for you! I have found OPKs to be pretty reliable, but I would never rely on them alone. I think they are a great thing to add to the mix while you're charting, but I just use them for supplemental confirmation of impending O. I pay more attention to my temps and CM. I hope your stay here is short and you get your BFP soon! =)

    I agree.  Since you can't predict O by temps alone (only confirm after the fact), and sometimes CM can be iffy, OPKs are a great way to tell when O might be coming.

    Ditto Fay! I like the CBE digital OPKs. I got 20 on Amazon for $26. I like that I don't have to read the lines - a smiley face is much more fun to see. GL!
