Single mom of a wonderful 3 year old. Not sure what I'm hoping to get from this exactly. But it's one of those nights when having some ladies to commiserate with sounds nice. Hi!

    Sorry, I didn't give much information did I?! I have a 3 year old son. I have been separated from H for almost 2 years and recently started putting more thought into starting the divorce process (now that H got his girlfriend pregnant and wants to move back to NYC). H is involved in son's life but only when I ask him to be. He's pretty much a babysitter. Anyway, I'm sure you'll be hearing much more of my bitching about him! Glad to be here!!

    Hello and welcome.  You can get a lot from this board, actually.  It's a great group of STRONG women and we can all provide you with support.  Many of us have also gone through the legal gamit (sp?) of things and can offer insight as well, if needed.

    Welcome! Separation and divorce when there are children involved is always tough, but these women are a huge support.
