Making your own wipes...?

When you make your own wipes is two layers (a front and a reverse) really enough flannel or flannel/terry to cut it?  I am re-purposing an old sheet so it may be that my flannel seems kinda worn thin already, should I find a thicker flannel? TIA and Merry Christmas! image

  • Thank you!  I never see any other recommendation but of course with less than 5 weeks until I pop I'm getting anxious and over analyzing everything Wink thanks for the advice!

  • I made mine from flannel and terry and I think they're a little thick for my newborn.  I think two layers of flannel, even the thin stuff, would work great.

  • mine are just one layer of flannel or other fabric. I have some I made from an old bathrobe and some I made from an old pair of pajama pants. the pj ones are my favorite because they?re like t-shirt material and that seems to do the job pretty well.
