Miscarriage/Pregnancy Loss

Checking in

Hi ladies,

It's been a while since I've posted, so I thought I'd stop in and say hi. Things seem to be better, went back to work and didn't break down (like the first week I tried to go back), and my house is now in tip top shape for Christmas. I'm starting to feel a little sad though, my sis in law came over today, and she is pregnant. She has been trying for a while, so I was very happy for them when I found out... But I found out 2 days after my miscarriage, so the timing wasn't great. She told me her due date, and it is only a few weeks after mine was... It's hard to think of what could have been, you know? My kid and her kid could have been best buds. To top it off, tomorrow will be one month since my m/c... I'm getting a little teary thinking about it, but hopefully I'll be so stupidly busy that I won't have time to dwell on it. Sometimes it feels easy, and other days I feel like I've hit a wall...

Anyhow, I hope you all have a lovely Christmas day! Cheers!

Re: Checking in

  • you are being amazing--i can't even look at people i know were due around the same time as me, or even think about them (christmas cards, and possible birth announcements coming only days after we would have had our LO).  keeping busy is helping me at times too, but its been rough--so good for you! and i hope you have a wonderful christmas day--it sounds like you are going to try to!
