High School Musical movies question

my niece left HSM2 at our house over the summer (she lives in TX, told us to keep it).  I've resisted putting it on for my dds, ages 3 and 6.  It's rated G but the fact that it's about high school made me think maybe not appropriate?  anyway, in a moment of weakness, I just turned it on for them (lets me continue baking, cleaning, etc.) but is it appropriate??  I'll turn it off if I should! 

Any experience?

Wish Upon A Star

It's very clean- not even a kiss in the first one, and I think one kiss in the second. The music is very catchy. I play it for my students to dance to in pre-k.
