Switching detergent for CDs question

We currently use Purex free&clear, but after Pixy saying that their rash issue was caused by detergent I think DS's is also.  I ordered Planet detergent today and it will arrive Monday.  Do I need to strip the old detergent or can I just start using the Planet and it will remove the Purex?  TIA

I would just wash them as normal. The detergent should all wash out after a few washes. I liked planet because it never gave her rashes but it always kept her diapers smelling like poo after she wet them. I can only use regular tide nothing else works. I hope you have better luck like a lot of others have.

I would strip first.  We tried Planet, and it didn't work for us with our hard water.  Hope it works for you!
