I was reading some reviews and one person said that they didn't have enough space to perform the series. I have a rather small workout space so this worries me a bit. Exactly how small of an open space is big enough to do this workout comfortably?

You really don't need a huge space to do the workout. There are maybe 2 moves that require a larger area, but the size of your living room will work just fine for those. Good luck!
you don't need a lot of space. The only dvd that requires some space is the plyo one. You can modify to make it work for you. good luck! it's a great program that really works.
living room space is enought. If you have a doorway nearby it will be helpful becuase there are some upper body/arm movements that require the band to be in a closed door- unless you use dumbells if I remember correctly. I haven't done it in a while.
