Any chance you can tell me what the maximum milligrams an adult should have of ibuprofen in a day?  Thanks!

    2400mg/24 hours.

    You can safely take 800mg every 8 hours.

    Thanks!  I knew that you could take 800mg but had no idea how often so I gave that to my Mom today and then posted here.  You are the best.
