Nausea and abdominal discomfort with Nuvaring

I started using nuvaring on the 12th. Twice this week I've had bouts of nausea and a really strange feeling right below my ribs that so intense I can't even sleep that lasts for a few hours than just goes away. I KNOW I'm not pregnant, but that's how it feels..like that nervous/butterfly feeling you get now and than. Anyone else have anything like this while using nuvaring?

    i used the nuva ring for about 3 years before I got pregnant and out of that, the patch and bc pill I had the least amount of side effects

    I used the nuvaring for a long time and I don't recall those side effects. I'm thinking what you are feeling may not be related to the nuvaring. Call your doc.

     I'm going to call her after the holidays, her office is closed. I took the ring out just in case.
