separation anxiety out of control- help

my 4 month old son has the worst separation anxiety..to the point where i had to stop working this week, and ive only been back for 3 weeks.. he will cry for hours until i get him..he will cry until he pukes, cant breathe nd loses his  voice.. he has had a light scratchy voice for 3 days now..peditrican gav me no help or advice.. he stays with his father nd grandmother but he will cry/scream 4 them. he is not used to them? he only wants me..helpp
