Do you BF? Put a little BM on it. If you wash it well, you really don't need neosporin. A thin layer of Vaseline will keep dirt out and won't hurt if LO swallows it but I'd probably just leave it alone.
Ds scratched himself on the face a while ago and the pedi says to use Polysporin (sold in the same aisle as neosporin.) I guess Neo has something in it that shouldn't be used on infants, according to my pedi.
