Ds is allergic to soy and almost all bread on the market has soy in it. I just found out that Publix bakery sourdough bread doesn't have soy in it. Would that make decent french toast?

Thanks! I stopped by Walmart for a few things before heading to Publix and the Walmart sourdough was without soy too. I have no idea how/why only sourdough is made without soybean oil (all the other breads had it) but I'm so excited to find a fresh, inexpensive bread alternative for him on the rare occasion we need some. Walmart actually had a square sourdough loaf so I picked one up.
All those who make it, what's your normal recipe? Dh and I don't eat grains so I haven't made french toast in years.

Re: Can I make french toast out of sourdough bread?
yes. it'll have that sourdough tang to it, but it's not a bad combo imo.
I can't believe that their french bread has soy in it. That's messed up.
