Interesting article from CNN w/ advice from some moms who overcame bf'ing problems. Might be helpful for mom's to be or mom's currently experiencing challenges.
And here's another article on BF'ing - might be particularly interesting for those who FF - linky
My dr. actually told me about that article when I was going through my little crisis after E was born. One of the most interesting things for me after I read it, was to read all of the comments posted at the end. If anyone didn't understand how polarizing the BF v. FF issue is, I think the tension comes across loud and clear.

yowza. i hadn't looked at the comments.
Some of them are mean right?!? Esp. the ones like "If you're not going t BF than don't have kids!" I saw something similar on another board that if you let your kid CIO, then you shouldn't have kids..." It's just so awful that moms treat each other that way. Instead of BF or FF support, how about we just have MOM support?

mean doesn't even begin to describe some of those comments! I was just skimming, but stopped reading after the first dozen or so. some of those are really horrible.

Couldn't agree with this more! We beat ourselves up bad enough as it is sometimes that we don't need another Mom to look down on us as well. I already told myself to have some tough skin in the future... some of those playground Mamas can be cruel sometimes.
