Ugh...I've got to make cookies today

How bad is it that I just don't look forward to doing it with my little "helpers".  They don't know that, of course.  It will be a fun happy event for them.  But, for me-it's just going to take twice as long and be 3 times as messy.

    I was just thinking the same thing.  I've tons of baking to do today and so not looking forward to the "help".  They'll love it and we always all bake the cookies for Santa together so...  If we can just keep DS from "helping," I'll be content.

    I've had 3 discs of dough in my fridge for a week for the same reason. I don't want to do it with the kids because it's such a disaster-- the house is a mess as it is, and I don't want more to clean up.

    Christmas kind of snuck up on me this year.

    Seriously!  My little "helpers" have covered the floor in green and red sugar sprinkles.
