I think I'm torturing myself by still temping...

It's only been 2 days since I got my bfp, so I'm only 12dpo. But my temps look like they're starting to drop. Did you ladies stop temping as soon as you got your bfp's? Should I worry about my temps dropping, or is this normal? I'm starting to get nervous about my bloodwork tomorrow. I hope my numbers double.. I guess I'm just worried about a CP..Thanks ladies.

    I kept temping for a few days after my BFP.  The link to my chart is in my siggy.  It really is just torture if you keep temping.  My temps went up and down for those few days before I stopped and it drove me crazy.  I say step away from the thermometer and enjoy being pregnant.

    I'm at 16 DPO and I'm still temping.  DH wants me to stop, so I told him tomorrow will be my last day temping. 

    You really don't need to anymore, it just adds uneccesary worry.

    BFP#1: 7/14/10.  EDD: 3/19/11--MMC-- D&C 9/2/10.

    I stopped a few days before my bfp. I usually just temped to confirm O.  Yes it's normal for your temp to fluctuate after you bfp and that's why you're "supposed" to stop.

    Put the BBT away. It means nothing after a BFP. You will just drive yourself crazy.
    BFP #1 9/23/09. Missed MC 10w3d D&C 11/3/09.

    Ok ladies, I will take your advice, and hide my BBT away. It definitely adds stress! I was just worried because my last pregnancy, I temped for a few days after, and my temp went down after my bfp, and then had a mc a few weeks later..

    And how did you know!? lol..I poas again this morning because of my temp drop..The line was darker than yesterday and the day before, so I calmed down (a little)..Maybe I'll have dh hide them as well..

    I may have POAS at 9w because I had a bad day... Clearly would have been + even if I'd lost the baby b/c the hormones stay a while, but it made me feel better. Love the crazy that comes with PGAL.

    Ah yes. So true. But it does make you feel better, that's for sure. I was happy when the line was darker this morning. And just think - the craziness has a long way to go since I'm so early!

    I'm terrible, I still temp. Makes me feel better. I do notice a change some days. Don't worry about it too much. I'm just a very insecure pregnant woman hehe

    Thanks - at least I know I'm not the only one! lol..I didn't temp this morning, so I think I'm just going to lay low with the temping. I get my second beta's done today, so we'll see what happens there. :)
