New on this board and a quick question.

I've been on TTCAL for over 2yrs and we want to move on to Fertility treatments.I had a PE/DVT at age 18 I'm now 28 with no issues.I'm wondering what med would be ok to take to O.My reg GYN mentioned clomid when she gave me the name of the fertility Dr were going to be working with.I was researching and it said use caution with blood clots,am I still at risk to get them back seeing how it's been well over 10yrs since I had them?? Thanks!

    I don't know and I would honestly ask your RE. They should really know what meds are best for you specifically. Good luck!

    I am not sure, but I know my RE does not usually like to use clomid.  He said that is can mess with the lining of your uterus.  He started me on injectibles when I started at his practice.  I had already done 3 clomid cycles with another doctor before that.  Once you meet with your doc, he/she will be able to guide you and help you figure out what is best in your case.  Good Luck!

    After 1 IUI, 3 IVF's with CGH/CCS testing, 10 early miscarriages, and lots of tears and frustration, we are moving on to Domestic Infant Adoption!  We are so excited to see what the future holds.
