I like Brandon Jacob.  Jackson Tyler is a little too... presidential for my tastes.

I love Brandon Jacob but I have to just say that the initials B.J. bother me. I hate bringing it up because I love the name, but just wanted to make sure you were aware of the potential bad nickname...if it doesn't bother you definitely go for it!

Brandon Jacob makes me think of the NY Giant Brandon Jacobs.

Jackson Tyler. While Jackson is more popular than Brandon, I far prefer the nickname Jack or JT over BJ.

Brandon is still a nice name, though. Would you consider Brandon Tyler?

My Dh really wants to use Jacob because it has special meaning. The only reason he agreed to Tyler was because he really likes Jackson but I vetoed Jackson Jacob, the 2 J's bother me. I figure you hardly ever use your middle name so Brandon Lilley sounds fine, we would never call him BJ.

As far as the NY giants, never heard of the guy, so it doesn't bother me and again he will probably never use his middle name. I never use mine. Thanks for the input and opinions, picking a name is so hard!
