DD's kindergarten registration is due in a couple of weeks and I just cannot bring myself to fill it all out. I started crying the day we got packet from the district. I'm tearing up right now just thinking about it (emotional basketcase...you can say it.)

My little girl cannot be turning 5 in a month. She just can't.

Crazy; huh?  I was really emotional about pre-k this year.  Kindergarten has not really hit me yet, but I'm sure it is only a matter of time because I am a big baby when it comes to this stuff.  We have to first figure out what school we're sending her to.  I can't believe how early registration is.

This is why I am glad that DS has another year of PreK before I have to deal with it. Once they are in the school system,  they can't be my babies any more!!

Wow! That's really early. Around where I live, K registration doesn't begin until March or April. I'm excited to get DS registered for pre-K next school year, but I'm sure I'll be in the same position you are when our time comes for K reg.

I'm in the same boat--I put off touring kindergartens until this month and registration starts next month.  I am excellent at denial-based procrastination...

We just got a note from 4K that 5K registration is coming up in January. I can't believe my baby is that old already!

I was really excited to get DD scheduled into school!   She did Prek4 in a public school.  It was a great year!  

I think its a lot of fun!  They learn so much!

I will have a hard time with it in Sept when he starts. I'll be anxious to register him in a few weeks though, because I want to make sure I get him in the school that I want. Only 50 slots, and 39 of them will be offered to the current preschool kids first. Doesn't leave me with much room. But I really like the school, so I will be happy when I know the path he will take.

Me too! We received the information in the mail about the Q&A Sessions, and I started crying. We went to the Q&A Session, and I had to fight back tears. I can't bring myself to open the actual registration packet yet. It's due in 4 weeks.

I thought since my kids are in daycare full time that it wouldn't be a big deal. Boy was I wrong.

I think I'll need drugs the first day of school just to pull through it.
